Bookshelf

I’m turning language models into superforecasters.

I also build RL environments, evals and datasets, and I write CUDA and Triton kernels to make inference faster.

In undergrad I worked on computational chemistry, drug simulations and biostatistics, and later on cryptography and privacy-preserving machine learning.

I’m interested in AI safety, alignment, mech interp, longevity and consciousness, in people and in machines. Outside of work I like climbing, bouldering, road cycling and Werner Herzog.

I’ve made over 100 open-source contributions, to PyTorch, vLLM, SGLang, verifiers, sentence-transformers and more.

Research

I still think a lot about cryptography research. If you do too, write to me.
